1.Despatch Policy: While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Goods are normally dispatched within 72 hours. If we are unable to dispatch your order within 7 days, we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated dispatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order.
Delivery of goods will be either via Parcel Force or Royal Mail within U.K and D.P.D for European/International. The Parcel Force service provides a secure delivery service (UK Mainland only), a signature will be required at the delivery address.
We do not deliver to PO box addresses
2.Prices and Tax: The price shown for the goods excludes postage and packing unless specifically stated. The charges for postage and packing are shown in the Checkout once you have entered the country and method of delivery and before you are asked to confirm the order. Delivery to non-European countries may result in import duties payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for these duties.
3.Cancellation and Returns: If you are not satisfied with the goods you have a right to cancel the contract, return the goods and receive either a full refund of your monies or replacement goods. We recommend that you send goods by special delivery, as SAFC cannot accept any responsibility for goods lost in the post. Postal charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the goods are faulty, P+P charges apply for all exchanges.
Please note that SAFC are unable to exchange or refund player/custom printed shirts, or accept responsibility if a player leaves the club or a change in squad number.
4. Colours: The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.
5.Confidentiality: All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
6.Indemnity: You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
7.Jurisdiction: The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
8.Consumer Rights: None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
9.Company information: SAFC is the trading name of Sunderland Association Football Club Limited, which is a company incorporated in England and Wales and registered under company number 49116.
10.SAFC Foundation:
a. In purchasing your gift you are raising funds for the SAFC Foundation who is a registered charity, pursuant to the Charities Act 2006.
b. Your gift will be used to benefit a young person or family who are currently or will be taking part in a SAFC Foundation programme.
c. You do not personally receive the gift and you are not permitted to nominate the specific persons whom will benefit from the gift.
d. Due to confidentiality reasons, SAFC Foundation cannot disclose the identities of persons benefitting from the gift.
e. SAFC Foundation uses their expertise to allocate gifts where they are most needed. Your money will be allocated to one of the specific areas within the Foundation - Raising Standards, Inclusion and Well-being, Family Learning or Football Development according to the gift you have chosen
f. SAFC Foundation will use their discretion at all times to ensure no gifts are wasted, therefore, if your gift is not required at the present time then SAFC Foundation will allocate a similar gift from the same 'pot'.
g. SAFC Foundation ensures at the end of each year that the total money allocated to a certain 'pot' is the total money spent. This information can be viewed upon request.
h. A small percentage of funds donated to the SAFC Foundation each year will be used to fund the running costs of the Foundation and as such this may or may not be taken from your gift.
